Learning and Development Consultant
The Learning and Development Manager will develop immersive training experience that combine management research and CrossLead’s practical experience transforming organizations. This leader will be responsible for improving existing curriculum, tailoring curriculum to different audiences, and building new content to teach a variety of leadership and management process-related competencies. In some cases, you may be both designing the content and delivering it to groups of managers or executives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing content for CrossLead training programs, rooted in the methodology outlined inTeam of Teams, and customized client training programs
- Managing all aspects of content design and delivery process, including learning objectives, course format, curriculum development, and learning validation
- Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to ensure programs align to CrossLead’s principles and standards
- Serving as the subject matter expert on all available CrossLead curriculum
- Engaging with our client stakeholders to ensure custom programs meet the desired learning objectives
- Identifying opportunities to improve upon our existing curriculum
- Collaborating with our designer to ensure the content meets brand standards and is visually engaging
- Partnering with our research adviser to design content that reflects the latest management research
What you bring to the table:
- 4+ years of experience designing and developing training programs
- A passion for new ways of working, agile methodologies, and collaborative management practices
- Familiarity with content design and delivery in a variety of formats, such as workshops, lectures, simulations, and virtual modules
- Knowledge of adult learning styles, best practices and learning validation techniques
- Public speaking expertise and comfort delivering training content in a variety of formats
- Flexibility and team spirit – we are a small team where everyone wears a few “hats”
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time

Here are a few example projects to give you a sense of what you might be called upon to develop for one of our clients or a CrossLead certification programs:
- Executive workshop introducing Objectives and Key Results
- Practical exercise to reinforce the concept of decentralized decision making
- Virtual one-day program on Leading Through Influence (managing dependencies, getting stakeholder buy-in, negotiating with colleagues, etc)
- Interactive simulation to teach the concepts of agile development
